Point Blank Films new

Feature Film update.

We are busy working on the first official Point Blank Films feature.

The film - a no-holds-barred pyschological thriller - is being co-written by Matthew Mawkes and Mark Willis, with pre-production help and script feedback from Justin Young. We don't have a title as yet - some of our discarded ideas so far have been 'No One Heard Her Scream' and 'A Cause to Kill', which may give you a little insight into what the film may be about! Suffice to say it will be a genuinely low budget film set in a quiet suburban neighbourhood...

We believe that nowadays the best way to launch your career in movie-making is to go out there and make your own fully-independent feature film. And the way to stand out in an overcrowded 'low budget' market is to make it well - with an excellent script, fine acting and classy direction. For now, we'll take the time to get the script right. Wish us luck!

We are happy to announce that our short films The Stranger by Matthew Mawkes and Splinter by Mark Willis are now available to watch here on www.pointblankfilms.com.

Versions of each film will also soon be availble for viewing on your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Android device.

Welcome to the new Point Blank Films website. 2009 has been a busy year for us. We now have two high-quality short films to promote to the world - check back here for screening times and details.
